Open to all MWR authorized patrons with military issued ID and guests. 

Dolphin Derby presented by Sunshine Gasoline

MWR's 30th annual Dolphin Derby Fishing Tournament will be held on Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 23, along with a Captain's Meeting on Friday, May 22, at Sunset Lounge Bar & Grill. See event details below:

CAPTAIN'S MEETING

  • May 22 at 6 PM - Sunset Lounge Bar & Grill on Sigsbee Park
  • A representative from each boat must be present

 

TOURNAMENT

  • Saturday, May 23 - lines in at sunrise!
  • Weigh-in is from 3 - 5 PM at the Sunset Lounge Bar & Grill 

 

ELIGIBLE PATRONS

  • Open to all patrons with a valid military issued ID card and their guests
  • Only 1 military ID card holder (the sponsor) is required per boat
  • Sponsorship required for all other anglers
  • NEW RULES: Anglers may have a Captain's License
  • A maximum of 6 people per boat

 

REGISTRATION

  • Registration forms are available at the Sigsbee Marina
  • Submit all completed forms to the Sigsbee Marina
  • Registration Deadline May 22 at 5 PM
  • Early Registration fee is $300: April 1 - May 3
  • Registration fee is $350: May 4 - 22

 

AWARDS & PRIZES

  • 1st Place - $1,000
  • 2nd Place - $700
  • 3rd Place - $300
